Eastbourne United Association Football Club were founded on 5th September 1894 as the 1st Sussex Royal Engineers Volunteers (Eastbourne) FC and over the years have undertaken numerous name changes which has resulted in the current name which incorporates both Eastbourne United and Shinewater Association who merged in 2003.
The clubs home ground, The Oval, has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past 18 months and is barely recognisable as Eastbourne United AFC look to progress up the non-league football pyramid
